Primitive Reflex Integration Programme

Primitive Reflex Integration programmes: Newbury, Berkshire or remote programmes available.

So, you have either had an Educational Psychologist report on your child/teenager or are thinking of getting one.  They will tell you where your child/teenager is having difficulties but does it really change anything? You might be told that your child/teenager has dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD or maybe slow processing.

Isn't it time you found out why this is happening?

Watching your child/teenager struggle with reading and getting their ideas down onto paper, can be frustrating and concerning.

It is hard to understand when they can verbalise their ideas but can’t write them down.  How can this be?

Maybe they are finding it hard to socialise or their behaviour is proving difficult.

Retained primitive reflexes can lead to ‘blockages’, they affect the way the eyes track, how we process information, anxiety, and many other factors.

Primitive reflexes

Just like a plant grows in a certain way, so do we.  Movement is how we develop our brains.  It might look like babies are doing random movements - but they are pre-programmed movements that train the cerebellum (to make things automatic).

We use researched exercises that help to integrate the primitive reflexes in order to allow the postural reflexes (mature ones) to develop properly.

There can be many reasons why these reflexes haven't been integrated properly - what we need to do is to give them a helping hand.

A Neuro-developmental assessment can ascertain whether a programme of researched exercises is required.

"My son really enjoyed working with AnneMarie, she not only helped with his Neuro-developmental delays but also his whole confidence in himself."
